1 pound Dean’s hot sausage
1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 package ranch dressing mix
1 package taco seasoning mix
2 cans whole kernel white corn (shoepeg), not drained
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
2 cans beef broth

Suggested garnishes: Sour cream, finely shredded cheddar, avocado which has been sliced or cubed

Brown sausage, beef and onion together; drain any excess fat.

In a large pot, mix all the ingredients together and simmer for one hour. (Can also be cooked in a crock pot on low for 4-6 hours).

Serve warm. Garnish with shredded cheddar, sour cream and/or avocado if desired.
