Dean’s Sausage Chili
1 Lb. of Dean’s Country Sausage (MILD or HOT)
1 Lb. of Ground Beef
1 Clove of Garlic, Minced
1 Medium Green Bell Pepper, Chopped
1 Medium Onion, Chopped
1 28 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes
2 16 oz. Cans of Red Kidney Beans
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
2 Tsp Ground Cumin
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 Cup Water or Beer
Preparation:
Brown sausage and ground beef until lightly browned. Add onion and pepper and cook until wilted. Add garlic. Drain. Stir in tomatoes, beans, seasonings, and liquid. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Serve.
